Dan was born and raised in Long Island, New York.  In high school he was voted "Best Sense of Humor" and "Most Sarcastic" two awards he takes very seriously.  Dan has always taken an interest in comedy and show business.  One rainy October night, he went to his first open mike and forgot his entire act once he reached the stage.  As the five minute set went on he remembered bits and pieces and sounded less like a comic and more like a 20 year old stroke victim.  His performing credits are rooted in musical theater, where he learned that any trivial and eventual climactic problem can be solved through the magic of song and dance.  Dan's biggest comic influences are, Mitch Hedberg and Andy Kaufman.  Dan's comedy can best be described as absurd observationalism.  Although he is currently concentrating on furthering his stand-up career, Dan would eventually like to branch out to include comedic writing for sketch and/or sitcoms.  Presently, he spends most of his time coming up with new material and attempting to attain his private pilot's license.  Recently he realized that serious comedy is hard work but the laughter of potential fans makes it all worthwhile.
